week 5

I'm sorry I wasn't able to post a week 4, since I had been sick with the flu. So week 5, I acually made up for week for. I had put on some soft music of my own, of course it wasnt the same as my friends Marcy's music we listen to, but I figured it would do the job. So on Wednesday this week, I had put on some soft music, sat on the floor, closed my eyes and let myself relax. It really did feel good after not feeling very well, to just relax and let my mind go blank. It was really funny because the four dogs that I have all layed around me and napped as I meditated to the soft music, I had turned the lights out and lit a candle with the music playing softly. On Saturday afternoon I had went back to Marcy's house and we meditated together again. She had showed me how to move the rest of my body with the music along with my arms as we meditated to her music. I feel so refreshed after our meditations together, that I acually cant wait to see her again the following week. It also did feel real good as I meditated with my dogs. I acually feel they all felt refreshed after our meditation as well. Until next week,

So Relaxed

I met with my friend Marcy on Sunday, and we meditated together again, which feels so good after a long week of homework and driving students around. We listened to her music and I was so relaxed with just sitting with my eyes closed listening to the music go through my body as every bone in my body felt loose. I didnt move any body parts today, it was just relaxing with out today. I felt so relaxed that when I went home, I had fell alseep on the couch as soon as I sat down, which is why I wasnt able to publish my meditation by Sunday. I was only going to sit for a little while and finish what I had to for homework. Sorry but it didnt work that way. I havent felt that relaxed for a long time, and I slept like a baby.

Week 2

This week was a very busy week for me with homework and driving my students, which can really be a tense job. I wasn't able to work out as much as I would have like to in the gym with being so busy. So Saturday I put time a side when I was finally home alone, put on some soft and quiet music, closed my eyes and relaxed. I could feel my body relaxing minute by minute. After about 10 minutes of just having my eyes closed listening to the quiet music, I started to move my arms above my head slowly to the beat of the music. I meditated for about 30 minutes, and afterward, I felt so relaxed and like a new person. I really am enjoying this meditation, and I really am going to try to meditate at least one more time during the middle of the week.
